My Top 5 Favorite Leaders

03/27/2019

There are a plethora of leaders in the Warriors series. Some of which led their Clan with honor, and some of which who only became leader to avenge themselves. Here's a list of the one who are my personal favorite, and reasons as to why.

5. Pinestar

I really liked Pinestar and I thought he was a good leader before he left his Clan. He hated going into battle with his heart, yet did it for the sake of ThunderClan. He was a fair leader who cared for all the cats in his Clan. Even when he left, although it may have seemed selfish, he partially did it because he knew he wouldn't be able to lead his Clan well anymore, and gave up his leadership to live in peace. Whether he was a coward or not, he had a good personality.

4. Morningstar

One of my favorite things about Morningstar was how he loved peace. He hated conflict and didn't want to force his Clan to fight. He did realize it was important for the spirit of the Clan to sometimes fight for their territory, though, and only fought for the sake of ThunderClan. He was not a brutal and merciless leader, and didn't like fighting partially because his mate, Songbird, was killed in battle. It was only after she herself came to him from StarClan and told him fighting was alright and important to some warriors that he decided to let his Clan fight.

3. Rowanstar

I think it's sad that Rowanstar had died. As much as I love Tigerstar, I really didn't want him to become leader because I didn't really want another cat named Tigerstar... (also I loved Rowanstar). In my opinion, Rowanstar was one of the best leaders despite what cats say about his Clan falling victim to Darktail and his rogues being Rowanstar's fault. I don't believe that is true; Rowanstar was new to being leader, and he fell very ill for a while. His Clan was facing something it had never struggled with before, and it wasn't his fault at all. He was so upset that his Clanmates didn't like him. Not angry with them, but he was sad and felt lonely at times, even blaming himself like his Clan did. Tawnypelt was a faithful mate to him and stuck by his side the entire time, and so did Tigerstar. When he got his nine lives revoked, I was very shocked because that was something that never happened before, and probably shouldn't have even happened then... He died sacrificing himself for his Clan, and always tried to do what was best for ShadowClan.

2. Mistystar

Mistystar is a fair leader, and I think she's one of the better leaders RiverClan has had. She is half-Clan, and learned from previous events that it really didn't matter where a cat is born, so as long as they're loyal to their Clan. She had suffered a lot in her life, and has no wish to destroy other cats or fight Clans with no good reason. She has a respect for the other Clans, although she'll always put her own Clan first.

1. Tallstar

I like how Tallstar was a caring and compassionate cat, who learned that revenge isn't the answer to anyone's problems. He took care of his Clan well, and was respected by most cats in the Clans. He hated fighting unnecessarily, and wanted to protect his Clan from everything. He was a good, fair leader who even chose a new deputy just to make sure WindClan stayed a peaceful Clan after he died. He didn't shy away from having friends in other Clans, as well as some outside the forest entirely. He is, by far, my favorite leader.
