Tribe Of The Rushing Water

The Tribe Of the Rushing Water has been around since before the Clans. In fact, it is cats from this Tribe that actually traveled and founded the Clans. The Tribe is led by a cat named Stoneteller, who is responsible for healing the tribe, performing ceremonies, and intercepting signs from their ancestors, Tribe Of the Endless Hunting. Stoneteller is also responsible for choosing a cat to succeed them after they die. Once a Stoneteller dies, the cat they choose will then take up the name Stoneteller and care for the Tribe as their healer.

There are a few other ranks within the Tribe as well. Kit Mothers are the queens who have given birth to kits and are expected to raise them until they're eight moons old, and ready to become a to-be. A to-be is a cat who is training to become either a cave guard or a prey hunter, depending on how their body is built. Cave guards are cats who are expected to protect the prey hunters from eagles and other predators, as well as keep careful watch for any dangers that wander near the cave where the Tribe resides. Prey hunters are the cats in the Tribe who hunt all the prey. Finally, elders are cats who have done their job for the Tribe and are ready to live in peace and be cared for by their Tribemates. 

The Tribe lives in the mountains, hunting things like mountain hares and eagles. They face dangers such as eagles attacking them, snowstorms, and sometimes mountain lions, among a bunch of other hardships. 

It is very rare for any cat to travel as far as the Tribe's cave, although they'll let cats join Stoneteller believes it is alright with the spirits. They rely heavily on The Tribe Of the Endless Hunting for guidance, and on Stoneteller to properly intercept signs.

The Stoneteller of the Tribe rarely leaves their cave (Cave Of Pointed Stones), and only ever leaves to perform ceremonies or pass on a message from the spirits. They'll also leave to help an injured cat, but that's really about it.

It is rare for a Tribe cat to ever leave the Tribe unless cast out by Stoneteller, which is rare in itself. Tribe customs are much different compared to Clan life.
